The new start of the academic year in Mountmellick secondary saw the introduction of Get Fresh Catering Company to provide school meals and other snacks to the students of the school. The catering team consists of seven staff including Ruth Stack who is the Chef / Manager.
Mid morning break and 11am which is breakfast time where we provide homemade wholemeal scones , low fat yoghurts, cereals , fresh prepared fruit salad, wholemeal toast with the option of beans or scrambled eggs, an option of tea, juice or milk.
We have a set menu each week from Monday to Friday with three different choices daily which include:
- Meat dish with mash potatoes, vegetables and gravy.
- Low fat chicken curry with boiled rice
- Sheperds Pie
- Penne bolognaise
- Roast chicken, roast bacon and many more different varieties
- Variety of soups with ham / cheese / chicken rolls
